Tell us a fun fact about yourself!
Aside from being outdoors, hiking and photography. I really love playing golf and also playing FIFA.
How did you get into photography and the outdoors? What makes you love it?
I grew up in St. George, Utah and was basically outside playing my entire childhood. My parents and grandparents would take us to Zion NP and many other amazing places multiple times a year. I guess I just have that same mentality of being outside and photography has pushed me even more to explore new places.
What do you do outside of photography?
I just graduated from the University of Utah with my bachelors degree. I plan on continuing my education and getting a masters degree in Higher Education Administration. I'm currently enjoying the freelance life right now. But I think that education is important and something to at least fall back on.
Which Lander product is your favorite?
So far I'm seriously loving the Moab case. It's super thin and light weight. I also really love the cascade powerbank [5200 mAh] it has saved me many different times already.
What advice would you give to people who want to get into adventure photography?
Just get outdoors and start taking photos with any camera that you have. I can't tell you how many times I get asked what camera I use, etc. It might surprise people how many photos I actually take with my iPhone. You don't need the latest and greatest to take great shots. Just get out and start taking photos and practice.
